"Shoofly" is a 10" x 10" colored pencil on sanded paper. Featured in this picture is "Waresthecream", a 6666's mare acquired by the Tongue River Ranch at the Remuda Sale, and her colt by the 6666's stud, "Natural Bottom". I enjoyed photographing these two last spring at the Tongue River Headquarters. This smart little colt was taking full advantage of his mother's fly swatting abilities. He was quite entertaining and after watching for awhile I think his mother may have been glad when weaning time came around!
