"Young Guns" is a limited edition print of my 18" x 27" colored pencil on sanded paper. The young people in this picture are being raised with not only good work ethic but good character, as well! They were enjoying their day, working along side their fathers at the Spring Works at the Tongue River Ranch. Ranch kids learn early on what is to be a good hand and the satisfaction of a hard days work. It takes all hands on deck during the spring works and Gracie and Blaine were quick to take their assigned place, vaccinating calves! Something that is so great to see is that while there is a lot sweat, dirt and sometimes a little blood, there is a feeling of true enjoyment that seems to show on all the faces! What a way to raise happy, healthy and hardworking American Kids! Thank you to the Tongue River Ranch for providing me with such amazing photo opportunities as well as such upstanding models! It was such an honor to depict these fine young people!
