“One of the “A” String”, an 11” x 14” colored pencil on sanded paper, featuring “Banjo”, aka “TRR Hillbilly Rock” is now available as a limited edition print! “Banjo” is a Tongue River gelding in Elwin McClenskey’s string. This pretty gelding qualified last year for RHAA Junior class and took 2nd on the limited open at the Ranching Heritage show at the 6666’s. He is by Cats Hillbilly and out of a Pepcid mare, TRR Girls A Rockin. He’s carrying a pretty Matt Humphreys bit and the buckle is marked “S White”. I took the reference photos for this piece last spring at the ranch.
