“The Bay Roan Colt” was created from photos that I took of “Corn Dog” at the spring works at the Tongue River Ranch in 2018. Jordan Willden was there day-working and this pretty gelding was part of his string. When I contacted Jordan and told him I was drawing a picture of his colt he told me was a two year old Pepto gelding and went on to say, “He made a really nice horse. Willing and easy to get along with. He was a talented young horse and a pleasure to be around.” He also told me he wished he still had him but he went to a great place. So many times this is the story but, lucky are the people get these really nice broke geldings!
