Wind to Water on the High Desert

"Wind to Water on the High Desert" is an early morning scene I witnesses on JO- near Animas, New Mexico. I was fortunate to join Amanda Mayfield and the Valdez family at their fall works a couple years ago. This windmill is in the UHL pasture near the working pens where we jumped horses out that morning to begin the gather. It was a beautiful morning and the New Mexico sky made a dramatic background for this piece.
