Strength and Dignity (super size canvas)

"Strength and Dignity" features a pretty little ranch raised mare owned by Erica Valdez. "JO Spark Plug", aka "Sparky" is a 2016 mare by "Rivers Cat Olena", a stud that the ranch lost in 2020 and out of one of the ranch's broodmares, "Miss Shine Gun". I was fortunate to spend several days last fall with Erica and her family at the JO-  branding. 

Abbie Wells, a sweet young lady who I was fortunate to meet while I was there, made the pretty buck stitched headstall and Tristan Mahoney made the special bit that was a Christmas gift to Erica from a good friend.

The verse on the bit is Proverbs 31:25 which reads

"She is clothed with strength and dignity; she can laugh at the days to come."

I think this verse is a great description of Erica and it fits this little mare as well!
